Primary Wave Special Markets is proud to announce the Horrorfest Soundtrack "8 Songs To Die For" featuring Ministry, Bleeding Through, Walls Of Jericho, Too Pure To Die, and more. The album is available January 5th, 2009 at Amazon.
Debuting in 2006, Horrorfest, originally billed as 8 Films to Die For, is a one-week national film festival that celebrates all areas of the horror genre. In its first year, Horrorfest became the first film festival in history to break into the Top 10 at the national box office, grossing over $2.5 million with the film An American Haunting.
Based on the highly successful 8 Films To Die For series, Primary Wave will be releasing 8 Songs To Die For featuring songs inspired by the bloodcurdling movies that make up Horrorfest 2009 - the biggest horror film festival in the USA. The digital releases will include some of the best of metal and hardcore bands such as Clutch ("Mob Goes Wild"), Walls of Jericho ("The Prey"), Bleeding Through ("Death Anxiety"), Ministry ("Let’s Go"), and Revolting Cocks ("Keys to the City"), among others.
The songs on the two soundtracks, were selected by Primary Wave’s Jonathan Platt and Jonathan Miller who also produced by the successful Saw soundtracks.

Speaking on the upcoming album, singer Carl Schwartz said "Thankfully there hasn't been a shortage of stuff in the world to be pissed-off about, so this upcoming album will be nothing short of brutal - and quite possibly the most critical, condemning, and controversial material we will ever release. For fans of FIRST BLOOD - Yes, this album will be every bit as heavy and crushing as the first, and then some. But the focus of this album resides in the message. There is simply too much going on in the world today to ignore, and if we are going to dedicate our time and lives to writing music and constantly touring the world while getting very little in return, then we might as well make it worth it and MAKE A FUCKING STATEMENT. I find this world becoming increasingly hostile while the powers that be continue to undertake massive efforts to induce us all into passivity, conformity, and false sense of comfort. Well, life is not comfortable and it is our turn to stir the pot."

TOO PURE TO DIE have posted 2 brand new songs! You can check out "Confess" on their Myspace page and "Gotham City" on Trustkill. Both songs are from the upcoming album "Confess" due out everywhere on January 13, 2009.
Guitarist Jordan Peterson checked in to say, "We are very proud and excited to release our new album "Confess" on January 13, 2009. We just posted the title track of the record on our Myspace and Trustkill has posted an additional song "Gotham City". We worked really hard on this album, and spent 6 months writing tons of songs and making sure we had the best album we could possibly make. We didn't want to write the same record over and over or jump on current trends in hardcore/metal. We wanted to do something fresh and combine influences from all different styles. It was awesome working with Zeuss and Jamey Jasta who brought a lot to the table. We look foward to 2009 and will hopefully see you on tour soon!"
Look out for tour announcements coming soon. Also check out the brand new "Swords" tee shirt, and other sweet TPTD merch.
Bleeding Through will begin an extensive US tour this February presented by their friends at Zambooie and Revolver Magazine. Zambooie & Revolver Magazine Present The "Declaration" Tour, the first U.S. headlining trek from Orange County's Bleeding Through in over three years.
Joining Bleeding Through on the dates will be Acacia Strain, As Blood Runs Black and Impending Doom. The US leg of the "Declaration" tour will follow the band's Australian tour, which features Between The Buried And Me, As Blood Runs Black and In Trenches. This is the first Bleeding Through US headlining tour since "The Truth" Tour in 2006, which featured support from Every Time I Die, Between The Buried And Me and Haste The Day.
"We are very excited about headlining the states next year," commented Bleeding Through frontman Brandan Schieppati. "We are looking forward to playing a lot of tracks from the new CD and some old favorites as well. This tour is going to spark the return of Bleeding Through the headliner, not the support band," Schieppati promises. "And we're bringing bands along that we love in order to create the best show we can."

The first video from Bleeding Through's new album "Declaration" is here! You may have seen "Death Anxiety" this past weekend on MTV2's Headbangers Ball, now you can watch it at Trustkill or YouTube.
Singer Brandan Schieppati chimed in to say, "The first line in ‘Death Anxiety’ says, “My body will be set aflame tonight.” We knew we wanted something straightforward with this video, performance driven and without some storyline or whatever. We didn’t want to be playing in a warehouse while some actors do something “spooky” somewhere else. With that being said, that first line in the song was too hard to resist. This video had to have fire!
The only thing we told Dave Brodsky, the director, is that we wanted it to feature the band playing the song and we wanted lots of pyro. And that’s exactly what we got!
We shot the video in Los Angeles which of course isn’t that far from where we live in Orange County. Jona joined the band well over a year ago but this is the first opportunity we’ve had to put him in a video. Also, Ryan sings with me on the chorus and we gave him a mic in the video; it really looks like how we are when we’re actually playing live. Although, we’re not usually playing live in an alley. And we’re not usually on fire. We really happy with the end result and with the reaction we’ve gotten to our new album, Declaration."

"The riffs are to die for; sounding as though they were brought to life in Gothenburg, Sweden, when in actuality Manassas, Virginia is home to metal's next big band. Their playing is at a fevered pitch, full of precision pounding. William Clapp's scathing cynical vocal delivery is fuelled by politically and socially charged messages." - Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles
